/n We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Automation Support Project Engineer to work on a very high profile project in Melbourne. /n /n M client is a leading, global, freight management technology business looking for a talented individual to support a major client. We are looking for a person who understands what can go wrong with what is essentially a free moving robot on an industrial scale.

Experience of various types of sensors and software related issues is highly sought after even if in a post graduate, non commercial context. /n /n POSITION REQUIREMENTS /n Education /n BS or MS degree in Mechatronics and Robotics Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline. /n /n Experience /n Related technical development and/or customer service experience. /n Working experience of Unix, Windows, Database management systems (such as Oracle, SQL Server). /n Familiarity with programming (like C#, C++ or Java).



/n Exceptional data-analysis and debugging skills using application logs. /n Familiarity with APIs, XML, JAVA, APACHE, and client-server apps. /n Knowledge of networking technologies and relational database structures and web-based enterprise solutions and technologies. /n Demonstrated experience with mission-critical, industrial enterprise application solutions. /n Willingness to travel based on business need (up to 10% - 25%). /n /n Competencies /n Exceptional leadership, customer service, writing, and oral communication skills. /n Demonstrated time/account management, and organizational skills /n Flexibility and ability to work extended hours under tight deadlines /n Problem solving and troubleshooting of complex technical issues /n Results oriented work methods /n Ability to work independently and in a matrixed team /n
