As our vehicle painter, you will play a critical role in maintaining a premium finish and an efficient workflow.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Preparing vehicle surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and filling to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish.
- Handling surface preparation, including priming, buffing, and denibbing as per job sheets.
- Applying primer coats and base/clear coat finishes using spray equipment in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Inspecting finished work for quality to ensure full compliance with industry standards.
- Working productively and efficiently with limited supervision.
- Maintaining a clean, organised work area, including the proper disposal of waste materials.
- Following all health and safety protocols (proper chemical handling and PPE use).
Is This You?We are looking for someone who:
- Qualifications: Holds a trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing Technology.
- Experience: Has a minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a spray painter in the automotive industry.
- Skills: Possesses a strong understanding of surface preparation and spray painting methods.
- Quality Focus: Has robust attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finishes.
- Work Ethic: Is reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and has excellent time management skills.
- Care: Handles all customer vehicles with due care and attention.
- Location: Is currently onshore in Australia (essential) with full Australian work rights or eligibility for visa sponsorship.
- Teamwork: Can work autonomously as well as part of a team.
