About the Role

As an AWS Architect, you will make an impact by designing and governing scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise cloud platforms across AWS and Azure environments. You will be a valued member of the Cloud Platform Engineering team and work collaboratively with application teams, infrastructure teams, security organizations, and product stakeholders to drive cloud architecture, platform automation, and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

- Define target-state cloud architectures and reference patterns, and review application architectures for compliance with enterprise standards.

- Architect and maintain Kubernetes platforms (EKS/AKS), developing reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns and establishing platform governance and self-service capabilities.

- Design and govern CI/CD pipelines (Harness, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory) and define deployment standards to improve release reliability and velocity.

- Define reliability, availability, and performance objectives, and implement observability, monitoring, and incident response capabilities to support resilient operations.

- Collaborate with security teams on cloud security controls, workload protection, and compliance requirements, ensuring architecture aligns with enterprise risk and audit standards.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered

- Demonstrated expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud architecture.

- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, or OpenShift).

- Proficiency with Terraform or comparable Infrastructure as Code platforms.

- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Harness, GitHub Enterprise, or Jenkins.

- Solid foundation in Linux administration, cloud networking, and cloud security.

These Will Help You Stand Out

- Background in large-scale enterprise cloud environments.

- Experience within financial services or another regulated industry.

- Exposure to multi-cloud architecture design.

- Working understanding of IAM and RBAC principles.

- Familiarity with cloud security and compliance frameworks.
