Botanic House is a premium dining destination located in the heart of the Royal Botanic Garden, offering exceptional food, wine and cocktail experiences in one of Sydney's most beautiful settings.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our Front of House team.
This role is suited to someone with experience in a premium restaurant environment who is confident behind a cocktail bar, understands the importance of service and presentation, and enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests.
About the role
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality beverage service while working closely with the restaurant team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
You will also be expected to step out from behind the bar and support the floor team when required, particularly during busy service periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer and other beverages to a high standard.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits and wine.
- Confidently recommend cocktails and wine based on guest preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented bar.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to guests.
- Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Support the floor team when required during busy periods.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation and service.
- Follow all RSA, food safety and company procedures.
About you The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working in a One Hat restaurant or a similar premium restaurant bar.
- Proven cocktail bar experience.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine and spirits.
- Confidence recommending beverages to guests.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for premium hospitality.
- A team-first attitude and willingness to support the wider restaurant team.
- Impeccable personal presentation.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Current NSW RSA.
- Full Australian working rights.
Availability Flexibility is essential for this role.

Pay: $33.85 – $67.70 per hour
