BMS Engineer Up to $130K + Super | Sydney & Newcastle A growing building automation company is looking for an experienced BMS Engineer to join their team and work across a strong pipeline of commercial building projects throughout Sydney and Newcastle .
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with solid experience across BMS, HVAC controls, commissioning and building automation , with Niagara experience essential .
The Role You’ll work across the BMS project lifecycle, from installation and configuration through to commissioning, troubleshooting and ongoing support.
You’ll Be Involved In
- BMS installation, commissioning and troubleshooting
- Programming and configuration of BMS systems
- HVAC controls and building automation
- System testing, fault finding and optimisation
- Working with BMS controllers, sensors and field devices
- Integrating BMS with HVAC and other building services
- Reading electrical, mechanical and control drawings
- Working closely with clients, contractors and project teams
- Supporting project delivery and ensuring systems are operating correctly
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on Niagara / Niagara 4 experience – essential
- Experience in BMS, controls or building automation
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls
- BMS commissioning and fault-finding experience
- Experience with BMS controllers, sensors and field devices
- Ability to read electrical and control drawings
- Robust communication and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on approach and willingness to work across Sydney and Newcastle
Experience with Honeywell, Schneider, Siemens, Distech, BACnet or Modbus would be highly regarded.
