We are seeking experienced Boilermakers and Pipe Fitters for ongoing workshop-based positions.

About You
Applicants should demonstrate
- Certificate III in the relevant trade or an equivalent qualification
- A minimum of three years of relevant industry experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and fabrication plans
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, assembly and/or pipe-fitting processes
- Ability to use relevant tools and workshop equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work safely and independently
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and availability for ongoing work
- Valid Australian work rights
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the position, duties may include:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
- Measuring,
marking, cutting, shaping and assembling metal components
- Fabricating, fitting and repairing metal structures and components
- Preparing, aligning and fitting pipes, flanges, valves and associated components
- Operating relevant hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
- Inspecting completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Identifying and resolving fabrication or fitting issues
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas
- Working effectively with supervisors, tradespeople and other workshop personnel
Employment Conditions
- Workshop-based position
- $70 per hour
- Ongoing work available for suitable candidates
- Further details regarding working hours and conditions will be discussed after qualifications and experience have been reviewed
Pay: $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 38.0 per week
