Workforce International is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Boilermaker to join our client’s Ground Support Equipment Maintenance team, based at Perth Airport.

Hours: Monday to Friday

Start times between 6:00am – 8:00am, with finish times between 2:00pm – 4:00pm, depending on operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of rolling stock and ground support equipment, including:

- Baggage trolleys
- Container trailers
- Steps and stairs
- Trucks
- Scissor lifts
- Other ground support equipment
- Assembly of trolley flat packs

Requirements:

- A current and recognised Boilermaker trade qualification
- Demonstrated welding experience using MIG, TIG and Stick
- A current Forklift Licence
- Experience with fabrication, maintenance and repair work
- The ability to assemble trolley flat packs
- The ability to successfully complete a comprehensive physical, drug and alcohol medical




- The ability to successfully complete a National Criminal History Check
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

The successful candidate will have an excellent attitude towards safety, demonstrate a robust work ethic and be able to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team. Flexibility and a willingness to assist with various tasks to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently will also be highly regarded. Eligibility- To be considered for this position, applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
