Tradelink St Agnes has an exciting opportunity for a Branch Assistant / Delivery Driver to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, motivated and keen to learn. You don't need to know everything about plumbing when you start — we'll help you learn the products, the industry and how we work with our customers.
You'll be an important part of the team, helping our customers get what they need and making sure orders get where they need to go.
What does the role involve?
Every day will be a little different. You'll work across the branch and out on the road, helping our customers and supporting the wider team.
Your day may include
- Serving customers and helping them find the products they need
- Processing customer orders, pickups and deliveries
- Preparing quotes and assisting with sales
- Picking and preparing orders for delivery
- Delivering plumbing products to customer sites safely and professionally
- Receiving stock and helping keep the branch organised
- Stocking shelves and assisting with inventory
- Learning about our products and the plumbing industry
- Working as part of a team to make sure our customers receive great service
What we're looking for You don't need years of industry experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
You'll need
- A valid SA driver's licence and a safe driving record
- A current LF forklift licence is desirable
- A genuine interest in providing great customer service
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn our systems
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude
- A willingness to learn new products and skills every day
- A reliable, hardworking attitude
- The ability to work as part of a team and pitch in wherever needed
- Availability to work a rotating weekend roster (half day)
