About the Role

Grace Removals is seeking a hands-on Branch Manager to lead our Broome operation. This is an all-rounder leadership role spanning operations, logistics, people, customers, sales and financial performance.

You'll manage the moving parts of a regional branch, from allocating crews and vehicles to supporting customers, managing costs and keeping the team moving safely and efficiently. The role suits someone who enjoys variety, makes decisions confidently and isn't afraid to get involved.

A house located on the branch premises is provided with the role, offering a practical relocation and lifestyle benefit while keeping you close to the operation.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Team Leadership

- Lead the day-to-day branch operation, overseeing office and field employees.

- Coordinate crews, vehicles, equipment and contractors.

- Manage recruitment, training, performance and team development.

- Maintain safety, service quality and operational compliance.

Customers, Sales & Business Development

- Manage enquiries, prepare quotations and identify new business opportunities.

- Build relationships with local, corporate and government customers.

- Resolve customer concerns and represent Grace professionally.

Commercial & Financial Management

- Manage branch revenue, costs, profitability and budget performance.

- Monitor trading results, labour and fleet costs.

- Support reporting, debtor management and branch business planning.

Branch & Asset Management

- Maintain vehicles, facilities, plant and equipment.

- Manage operational priorities, service issues and regional logistics challenges.

- Ensure professional standards across the branch and customer experience.

About You





You're an operational all-rounder who can move between people leadership, customer service, planning and problem-solving. You bring a practical approach, sound judgement and the resilience to manage the demands of regional operations.

- Proven leadership experience in operations, logistics, transport, removals, warehousing or a related field.

- Experience managing crews, drivers, contractors or field-based teams.

- Strong organisational, commercial and problem-solving skills.

- Confidence managing customers, preparing quotes and supporting business development.

- A willingness to lead from the front and adapt to changing priorities.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Removals experience is advantageous, but experience in a hands-on operational setting is equally valuable.
