LC Kitchens Perth Pty Ltd is a kitchen cabinetry manufacturing and installation company based in Canning Vale, Western Australia. We specialise in the design, fabrication and installation of high-quality custom kitchens, bathroom vanities, wardrobes and other bespoke cabinetry for residential and commercial clients across the Perth metropolitan area, providing end-to-end services from measure-up and manufacture through to on-site installation.

Key Responsibilities The Cabinet Maker will be responsible for the following duties consistent with ANZSCO 394112:

· Examine drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications for custom kitchen and cabinetry projects.

· Determine the selection of appropriate materials, hardware and fittings for each job, considering quality, durability and cost.

· Measure and mark out timber and manufactured boards, and cut, shape and machine components using hand tools and woodworking machinery.

· Operate woodworking machines, including panel saws, CNC machines and edge banders, to cut and form parts to specification.

· Assemble prepared parts with glue and mechanical fixings, and fit hinges, locks, catches, drawer runners and other hardware.

· Fit and install assembled cabinets, benchtops and joinery at client premises, ensuring accurate levelling, alignment and finish.

· Apply finishes such as laminates, veneers,



stains and lacquers where required.

· Repair, refurbish and modify existing cabinets and furniture as required.

· Work collaboratively with designers, installers and tradespeople to ensure projects are completed to specification, on time and within budget.

· Maintain a safe and tidy workshop and comply with workplace health and safety requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· A relevant AQF Certificate III in Cabinet Making plus 1 year of full-time relevant work experience as a cabinet maker or

· At least 4 years of full-time relevant work experience as a cabinet maker.

· Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and cutting lists.

· Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery, including panel saws, CNC machines and edge banders.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

· Experience with on-site installation of kitchens and cabinetry will be highly regarded.

· Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

· A valid driver’s licence is desirable for site installation work.
