XS Espresso is a fast-growing, iconic cafe brand known for its creative menu, outstanding coffee, and vibrant energy. We’re currently seeking a motivated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to lead our Kotara location.

We’re on the lookout for a passionate, experienced, and motivated Cafe Supervisor to take charge of the day-to-day operations of our Glendale branch. This is a leadership role for someone ready to step up and take full responsibility for a high-performing team and a dynamic café environment.

About the Role

As the Supervisor in charge of the Kotara location, you’ll oversee the operation of the café, ensuring smooth service, high staff performance, and an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be the go-to person for the team, working closely with senior management to lead the store to success.

Responsibilities

- Take full responsibility for the daily operations of the Jesmond café
- Lead, coach, and support the front-of-house team
- Maintain the XS Espresso standard of service, food quality, and presentation
- Oversee staff training, development, and shift coordination
- Manage stock control, ordering,



and supplier coordination
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Work with management to meet KPIs and drive profitability

What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role within a café or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to run a fast-paced venue independently
- Excellent communication and customer service focus
- A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and public holidays as needed
