We're Masterbuilt Homes, a Bargara-based custom home builder. We've been building across the Bundaberg region since 1988, and we're after a qualified carpenter to join our in-house crew.
The work
Custom homes in the $600k to $1.5M range, mostly coastal, plus the odd unit complex. No production line. You'll work under one of our two leading hands, alongside four carpenters and an apprentice, from frame through to fix-out. All our work is within about 60km of Bargara, so you're home every night.
The pay
$52 to $54 per hour base depending on experience, permanent full time. We put the number in the ad because we think you should know it before you pick up the phone.
What you'll need
● Cert III in Carpentry, or a recognised overseas trade qualification
● Residential framing experience, and you can work from plans and engineering
● White card, driver's licence and reliable transport to site for 7am starts
● Your own hand tools

If you're the carpenter who stops work rather than take a shortcut, and who fixes a problem instead of leaving it for the next trade, you'll fit in here.
