Role Description This is a part-time, in office Archicad Drafting role based in Surry Hills, NSW. The casual Archicad Draftsperson will prepare and update architectural and construction drawings in Archicad for residential renovation projects.
Day-to-day tasks include translating design concepts into detailed plans, coordinating drawing sets, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. The role involves working closely with the design team to refine layouts, elevations,
and details that reflect the studio’s mindful approach to reuse and renovation. The draftsperson will also assist with documentation for planning submissions and construction, and maintain organized digital files and drawing registers.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Drawings and Construction Drawings.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Interior Design.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in technical Drawing, including detailed plans, elevations, and sections.
- Proficiency in Archicad (and experience in residential renovation projects.
- Understanding of local building regulations and standards relevant to NSW.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to follow design direction.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a small studio environment.
- Relevant qualification in interior design or interior architecture.
