Casual Receptionists x2 – Port Macquarie Radiology

Port Macquarie Radiology is a family-owned diagnostic imaging practice on Bridge Street, and we're growing faster than we expected. With patient numbers climbing and our new MRI machine being installed soon, we're looking for two casual receptionists to join our front desk team.

These roles start as casual positions, but as we continue to grow, there's genuine opportunity to move into a full-time role for the right person. If you're looking for somewhere to build a long-term career in healthcare, this is a outstanding place to start.

This isn't your typical medical front desk role

We're looking for people with energy, personality and warmth. For many of our patients, you'll be the first person they meet, often when they're feeling nervous or unwell. We want that first impression to feel like a friendly face, not a waiting room.

We're looking for people who can:

- Engage naturally with patients from the moment they walk in
- Hold a genuine conversation and put people at ease
- Create a welcoming, relaxed environment at the front desk
- Deliver exceptional customer service, even on busy days

What you'll be doing:
- Greeting patients and checking them in and out
- Booking and managing appointments by phone, email and in person
- Processing Medicare, bulk billing and private payments
- Handling referrals and patient paperwork accurately




- Supporting our radiographers and sonographers to keep the day running smoothly

Uni students welcome If you're studying, especially in a health-related field such as medical imaging, nursing, allied health or medicine, we'd love to hear from you. Our casual shifts can work around your timetable, and you'll get real exposure to a busy diagnostic imaging practice as it expands into MRI. And if you're after something more permanent once you finish your studies, there's room to grow with us.

About you Previous medical reception experience is a bonus but not essential. We can teach you the systems, but we can't teach warmth. If you're someone people naturally enjoy talking to, we want you.
