MEDICAL RECEPTION ROLE - CASUAL

Are you a COMMITTED ADMINISTRATION/CUSTOMER SERVICE PROFESSIONAL looking for a LONG TERM CASUAL ROLE with potential to transition to part time? We are looking for a professional, caring and experienced receptionist to join our team in our family focused podiatry practice.

In this roleyou will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and working within the administration team of 4 to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities will include

- Taking and returning phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Patient greeting and check in
- Making client bookings and managing the appointments schedule for 4 podiatrists
- Processing payments and HICAPS claiming
- Typing letters and reports
- Patient recalls
- Instrument Sterilisation

Importantly you MUST BE:

- available to work Monday - 9.15am to 6.15pm




- flexible to work additional days on a weekly basis and to cover annual and sick leave periods
- capable of undertaking flexible work hours as our practice is open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
- be available to work additional paid hours in the first 2 weeks of employment for training

Criteria:

- previous experience in a medical reception or reception administrative role is essential
- strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- possess a friendly, caring, and compassionate nature
