Kindoo! is an independent kindergarten and LDC located in Ferntree Gully providing parents with flexible, high quality education and childcare options specifically designed to meet the unique learning and social needs of pre-schoolers.
We are now recruiting dynamic, qualified, professional support educators who genuinely love working with children and are committed to being a positive, reliable part of our small team. Initially, the position will be part time with some casual work with the ability to grow over time to full time if so desired.
Key Priorities
- A strong desire to work with and develop meaningful relationships with babies to 5yo's and their families.
- Delivery of the learning program including setting up of learning spaces and provocations, recording and reflecting on the children's engagement and extending on the learning
- Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues and the community
- Demonstrated capacity to enhance children’s experiences, knowledge, skills and well being
- Knowledge, understanding and implementation of the NQS, QIP and EYLF.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a highly professional team as a positive team player
- Strong supervisory and safety skills that foster a safe, secure and positive learning environment.
- Compliance with all Centre policies, practices and procedures.
- Proactive,
with a can do attitude that promotes continuous improvement in the provision of high quality education and care

The successful candidates will have
- ACECQA approved early childhood qualifications- recently qualified graduates and those working towards their qualifications welcome
- Right to work in Australia
- Current Working with Children Check, Police Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- Current full Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Current Child Protection training and commitment to the Child Safe Standards
