Bridgeport Hotel in Murray Bridge is looking for Casual Chefs / Cooks to join our team The difference between good and great often lies in having the right attitude and attention to detail. Our Chefs cultivate these traits for and within their team. We are planning on continuing to improve and grow our reputation and we want another superstar to help us do that.

You will work with a strong kitchen and management team that are passionate about great service and fantastic food.

So, how do you fit into the picture?

- Must be available over a 7 day roster to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays

- Experience on all sections including larder, plating, grill and pans will be essential

- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage

- Food preparation

- General kitchen cleaning duties

- Be able to work autonomously

- Be able to work under pressure

- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers





- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards

- Although this position is advertised as ‘Casual’, there is the prospect to be taken on as ‘Full Time’ for the right candidate

Requirements

- The right applicant needs to be driven, punctual, hard working, passionate, creative, forward thinker, well organized, respectful and above all else have a can do attitude

- Trade qualified and / or have previous experience in a similar role or environment

- Ability in dividing responsibilities

- Cope well under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines

- 7 day availability to work a rotating roster
