Baldwin Contracting is currently seeking experienced Truck & Dog Drivers, Plant Operators, Civil Pipelayers, and Civil Labourers for civil construction projects based in Bundaberg QLD.

These roles offer immediate start, supporting a range of civil construction activities including earthworks, infrastructure installation and general site works.

Key Responsibilities:

Civil Pipe Layers & Labourers

- Assisting with earthworks and excavation activities

- Site preparation and general site clean-up

- Experience laying sewer, stormwater, and water mains

- Concreting and civil infrastructure works

- Assisting operators and trades on site

Plant Operators

- Experience in excavation operations (3.5-25 tons) and other machinery

- Skilled in trenching, pipe placement, and detailed works

- Final trim experience

- Experience in lifting, backfill, and compaction operations

Truck & Dog Operators

- Perform daily vehicle pre-starts checks and report any maintenance

- Safe delivery of materials to internal and external sources





- Accurate completion of delivery and collection documentation

- Compliance with axle weight tolerances

Operator Requirements:

- RII Tickets in:

> Excavator

> Skid Steer

> Grader (Min. 2 years experience)

- HC Licence, with at least 2 years experience with Truck & Dog

- Clean Driving Record

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Current Drivers Licence

- Blue/ White Construction Card

- Proven experience

- Familiarity with construction tools and heavy machinery

- Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations

- Ability to read and interpret project plans and drawings is advantageous

- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

- Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks.
