MARIA Facility Service Trust is seeking a full-time Cleaning Operations Manager to manage and coordinate cleaning service operations across multiple client sites.

The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising cleaning teams, coordinating rosters, maintaining service quality, managing client requirements, and ensuring workplace health and safety standards are met across the business.

Key duties and responsibilities The Cleaning Operations Manager will be responsible for:

- Managing day-to-day cleaning service operations across assigned client sites.
- Supervising cleaners, team leaders, and site staff.
- Preparing and maintaining staff rosters to meet client service requirements.
- Conducting quality inspections and ensuring cleaning standards are maintained.
- Managing client requests, complaints, and service issues.
- Training staff in cleaning procedures, site requirements, chemical handling, PPE, and WHS procedures.
- Monitoring staff performance and reporting operational issues to management.
- Coordinating cleaning supplies, equipment, and stock requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assisting with mobilisation of new cleaning sites and implementation of service schedules.
- Preparing operational reports relating to staff attendance, service quality, incidents, and client requirements.





Skills and experience required

Applicants must have

- Relevant experience in cleaning operations, facilities services, commercial cleaning, or a similar service management role.
- Experience supervising or managing cleaning staff across client sites.
- Solid knowledge of cleaning standards, WHS requirements, PPE, and safe chemical handling.
- Ability to prepare rosters and coordinate staff across multiple work locations.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Ability to manage service quality, staff performance, and operational issues.
- Good organisational and reporting skills.

Relevant qualifications in business, management, cleaning operations, facilities management, or a related field will be highly regarded.
