/n /n What are we looking for? /n We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Client Services Officer who can: /n /n
- Provide first point of customer contact for all accounts receivable enquiries
/n
- Check Resident Agreements are compliant in relation to Security for Payment policies
/n
- Ensure all banking and allocation processes are completed in a timely manner ensuring accuracy in processing /unallocated monies /contra’s
/n
- Generate invoices and account statements
/n
- Perform account reconciliations
/n
- Perform general data input
/n
- Maintain all account receivable files and records
/n
- Produce accurate monthly financial reports
/n
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquires
/n
- Assist in general financial management and analysis
/n
- Liaise, research and resolve with internal staff and external customers regarding any concerns or discrepancies
/n
- Manage any outstanding debtors
/n
- Providing relief and assistance with other finance department functions as required of role
/n
- To work with the finance team to create a cooperative and positive team environment
/n
- In achieving these deliverables, the position holder will:
/n
- Observe confidentiality relating to residents/consumers, their records and organisational matters at all times.
/n
- Have a solid understanding of how the Accounts Receivable functions impact on other departments of Newcastle Anglican as well as external suppliers.
/n /n About you? /n /n
- 2-3 years demonstrated experience working as Accounts Receivable Officer in a high-volume function.
/n
- Experience with Aged Care systems (desired but not essential).
/n
- High proficiency in data entry.
/n
- Understanding of the full Accounts Receivable process, including invoicing, payment processing,
debt collection, and account reconciliation.
/n
- Proven ability to maintain Accounts Receivable functions at a consistently high standard.
/n
- Exceptional attention to detail.
/n
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
/n
- Demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office suite of products and processes relevant to Accounts Receivable.
/n
- Understanding of the basic accounting principles including GST treatments.
/n
- Experience in reconciling General Ledger Accounts.
/n
- Current drivers’ licence.
/n
- A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children).
/n
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).

- NDIS Worker Screening Check or a willingness to obtain one.
