Our client is a privately owned, boutique project management consultancy based in Brisbane. The business provides construction project management services across the full project lifecycle for mix of public and private sector clients. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced client-side Project Manager or Senior to join their team.

Your new role

This is a genuine end-to-end client-side project management role, working directly with asset owners and clients across the design, procurement and delivery of a diverse range of projects.

Project Managers are typically engaged from the design stage, working closely with asset owners to understand their requirements, develop project briefs, coordinate design teams and consultants, manage approvals and planning, and ultimately take projects through procurement and construction.

You will be involved in helping clients make key decisions throughout the project lifecycle, from developing and refining the design through to selecting contractors, managing the procurement process and overseeing delivery on site. During construction, you will act as the client's representative, coordinating consultants and contractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme, budget and the required quality standards.

What you'll need to succeed

- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Previous client-side project management experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering healthcare projects




- Solid commercial acumen and an understanding of the full project lifecycle
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to take ownership of projects and operate with a high degree of autonomy

For the Senior Project Manager position, candidates will need a proven track record managing projects independently and leading client relationships. The initial project is health and therefore having previously delivered projects for Queensland health or private sector healthcare providers a pre-requisite for this one.

The salary package, ballpark would be in the 120-140k range for PM level. SPM suggest 150-170k. Some flexibility of required too.

To note this is an office-based role. Obviously flexible as required, but they play a big emphasis on collaboration, teamwork, etc. As a result they do not offer a regular work-from-home model.
