About the Role

ETS holds the contracts to clear vegetation along Transmission lines in and around the Nowra area for Transgrid as well as other areas such as Sydney East, Sydney West and Central Coast. We are currently seeking Tree Climbers to join our Nowra team Do you love climbing trees and want to be part of an innovative, and industry leading vegetation management company. At ETS we provide a culture of safety, first-rate equipment and believe our employees are our most valuable asset.

As a Tree Climber and member of an ETS crew, your day will consist of climbing trees and using equipment to trim vegetation at heights. You will also work alongside another Climber and take turns acting as Safety Observer/Ground worker.

What we offer:

- Competitive base hourly rate + O/T + 12% Super
- Climbing Allowance $7.54 per hour

- Uniform & PPE provided

About you:

- Experience as a tree climber within the Utility or private industry – essential
- Cert 3 in Arboriculture – highly regarded
- General Construction Safety White Card – essential
- Manual drivers license unrestricted and valid is essential, MR Truck license - desirable
- Skills to operate chainsaws, chippers and other equipment
- Highly safety conscious
- Physically fit & healthy, and love the great outdoors
- Good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team and liaise with clients and the general public.
