- Health Manager Level 1: $46.05 - $61.27 per hour
- Medical Records Manager Grade 1: $54.60 per hour
- In addition to base salary, all roles attract 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging + Flexible Working (subject to approval)

Shape the Future of Clinical Coding at Liverpool Hospital

Join Liverpool Hospital as a Clinical Coding Auditor/Educator and play an important role in supporting coding excellence across one of NSW's largest tertiary referral hospitals. Why You'll Be a Creat Fit We're looking for an experienced Clinical Coding professional who enjoys sharing knowledge, supporting others and driving coding quality improvements. You'll bring strong technical coding expertise, excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

- Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI and Australian Coding Standards, supported by demonstrated clinical coding experience.
- Experience conducting audits, reviewing coding quality and/or delivering education and training initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach, with a genuine passion for mentoring, education and supporting high-quality coding outcomes.

Technical Assessment

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a two-hour Clinical Coding Assessment prior to interview.

Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Degree or Associate Diploma in Medical Records Administration or Health Information Management or other relevant health related qualification and /or experience relevant to the role.
- Describe your qualifications and extensive clinical coding experience, including your knowledge and application of ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS standards. Provide examples of complex coding scenarios you have managed and explain how you ensured coding accuracy,



consistency, and compliance with national standards.
- Provide an example of a clinical coding audit, quality improvement initiative, or education program that you have led or significantly contributed to. Describe the issue identified, your approach, the outcomes achieved, and how results were communicated and implemented.
- Demonstrate your understanding of casemix measurement systems and Activity Based Funding within a hospital workplace. Include examples of how you have used patient administration systems, databases (including MS Access or similar), and reporting tools to support coding performance, data quality, or funding outcomes.
- Provide an example that demonstrates your ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders while managing competing priorities in a demanding healthcare environment. How did you organise your workload, meet deadlines, and achieve a successful outcome?
