About the Role An exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine clinician to support the Clinical Director in the leadership, governance, and operational management of a contemporary regional Emergency Department. You will provide senior clinical oversight, contribute to workforce planning, support quality and safety initiatives, and mentor junior medical staff while maintaining a clinical workload. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Support leadership and operational management of the Emergency Department.
- Provide senior clinical care and supervision.
- Contribute to workforce planning and medical staff support.
- Promote clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement.
- Support education, training, and supervision of junior clinicians.
- Participate in service planning and continuous improvement initiatives.





Essential Criteria

- Current AHPRA registration as FACEM or FRACGP/FACRRM with advanced emergency medicine qualifications.
- Demonstrated Emergency Medicine experience and clinical expertise.
- Proven leadership and multidisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to clinical governance, education, and service improvement.
- Ability to participate in evenings, weekends, and on-call rosters.
