We pride ourselves on a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence, where every employee plays a key role in enhancing the lives of the people we support. /n About the role and where you will be working: /n We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join the friendly and supportive team at Juniper Numbala Nunga, Derby. /n Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight of care services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
You will work closely with residents, families, nursing staff and allied health professionals to support positive resident outcomes, clinical excellence and compliance with aged care standards. /n Juniper Numbala Nunga operates two residential aged care homes in Derby – Ngamang Bawoona and Numbala Nunga. Located opposite each other on Sutherland Street, both homes offer high and low-care options. Additionally, both shared and single rooms are available, with a total of 43 beds to accommodate residents.
The layout is designed around a beautiful internal garden area, with rooms opening directly to the veranda and outdoor space. /n This is a permanent full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible start and finish times can be negotiated. /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
/n
- Conduct resident assessments, reviews and care planning to support positive health outcomes
/n
- Coordinate the admission process and ongoing clinical care requirements for residents
/n
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care services
/n
- Support, mentor and develop the capability of nursing and care teams
/n
- Monitor clinical quality, risk and compliance outcomes, including incident management and continuous improvement
/n /n Key requirements: /n /n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
/n
- Demonstrated leadership experience within aged care, residential care or a healthcare setting
/n
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and care planning processes
/n
- Experience with AN-ACC funding, assessments and documentation (desirable)
/n
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
/n
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement
/n
- Ability to obtain all required clearances, including a National Police Clearance and Key Personnel checks
