/n /n The company /n My client is a well-established organisation within the aged care sector, with many locations around the ACT, providing residential, community and home care since the mid 1900’s. The organisation are reputable for their work/life balanced culture and many educational benefits. /n The role: /n Working as a Clinical Nurse, you will be providing high-quality clinical support to residents whilst also providing leadership to your team. You will ensure that all services and care are delivered to meet legislated standards and organisational policies. /n Your duties: /n /n
- Manage your team and priorities throughout the day
/n
- Completing clinical assessments,
care planning and case management reviews
/n
- Identify specific medical, emergency, or allied health interventions
/n
- Ensure high quality documentation is completed when necessary
/n
- Ensure quality nursing care is provided to residents
/n /n Skills and Experience: /n /n
- Current AHPRA registration & drivers’ licence
/n
- Experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia, ideally working with older people
/n
- Experience in palliative care, wound care and falls management
/n
- Strong communication and documentation skills
/n
- Knowledge of advance care planning is desirable
