What Your Day Could Look Like

As a Clinical Nurse – School Based Youth Health Nurse, you'll help improve the health and wellbeing of young people across local school communities. From supporting students through health challenges to delivering preventative health initiatives, you'll work with schools and community partners to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Every Day, You'll Contribute By

- Delivering health assessments, early intervention and referral pathways that improve student wellbeing.
- Leading health promotion and education initiatives that build health literacy, resilience and informed decision-making.
- Partnering with schools, families and community services to coordinate responses to emerging and complex health needs.
- Applying clinical expertise, evidence-based practice and innovation to improve youth health outcomes and support healthy school environments.

supporting young people to reach their potential and strengthening school communities. Here's What Will Help You Thrive In This Role

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Solid clinical experience and the ability to assess, coordinate and evaluate care in a primary healthcare setting.
- Proven ability to build effective partnerships with schools, families, community services and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

You'll stand out if you have postgraduate qualifications relevant to youth, community or primary healthcare and/or experience working with young people in education, community or rural settings. Above all, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage while helping young people build healthier futures and stronger community connections.
