About the Role We are seeking a capable and motivated Clinical Nurse – Theatre to join our team on a permanent part-time to full-time basis.

This is a hands-on clinical leadership role, working alongside the Theatre Manager to support the day-to-day running of our theatre department. You will remain actively involved in clinical practice while providing support and guidance to colleagues, assisting with team coordination and stepping into the floor coordinator role as required.

The role provides an opportunity to take on greater leadership responsibility while remaining connected to clinical practice. You will work closely with the Theatre Manager to support staff, maintain safe and effective theatre operations, and contribute to education, quality improvement and the ongoing development of the team.

We are open to discussing part-time or full-time hours with the successful applicant. Flexibility across the working week is important to support theatre activity and leadership coverage, and the specific working pattern can be discussed based on individual availability and service needs.

Whether you already have Clinical Nurse experience or are ready to take the next step in your leadership development, we are looking for someone who will bring a collaborative, accountable and team-focused approach to the role.

To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Demonstrated clinical experience, with the confidence and capability to work at an advanced level (previous Clinical Nurse experience desirable but not essential)
- Experience in perioperative and/or day surgery settings (ophthalmology highly regarded)
- A genuine commitment to safe, high-quality patient care, with strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills to support patient flow in a busy environment
- A sound understanding of NSQHS Standards, infection prevention and control, and work health and safety, with the ability to apply these in practice
- A team-focused, proactive, and accountable approach, with the ability to align with organisational direction while positively supporting both patients and colleagues
