Almec Pty Ltd is seeking experienced CNC Turret Punch Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing team in Auburn, NSW. As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality precision metal components, contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Turret punch machines to fabricate metal parts and components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate production of parts
- Set up, program, and adjust machines to achieve the required specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on machinery
- Work closely with the production team to ensure timely and efficient completion of orders
- Maintain a clean and organised work setting, adhering to health and safety policies
- Operate the forklift as required, with licence obtainable after hire.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience with CNC turret punch machines
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and able
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
