Excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist / CAM Programmer looking for more variety than a traditional machine shop role.
Our client is an established engineering and tooling business based in Adelaide's northern suburbs. They require a capable CNC all-rounder to program, set and operate CNC machinery, while also using their machining and tooling knowledge to provide technical support to customers.
This is a hands-on position with the opportunity to develop further into tooling applications and technical customer support.
- Fusion 360 CAM programming
- Program, set and operate CNC machinery
- Doosan CNC lathe & Okuma CNC mill
- CNC turning and milling
- Precision machining and tooling
- Work from drawings and models
- Cutting tool selection and machining strategies
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
- Assist customers with technical enquiries
- Occasional customer site visits
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You may be a qualified CNC Machinist, Fitter & Turner,
Toolmaker or experienced CNC tradesperson.
You will ideally have:
- Strong CNC programming, setting and operating skills
- Fusion 360 CAM experience
- CNC turning and milling experience
- Good cutting tool and machining knowledge
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Current driver's licence
Experience with Doosan or Okuma machinery would be highly regarded.
