Kimberley Hotel is currently seeking a full-time Commis Chef with a solid background in the hospitality industry to join our hardworking team.

Our venue consists of an 80 room hotel with a la carte restaurant, 3 bars (sports, cocktail & saloon) and bistro dining alongside a 100 Single person quarter camp and associated catering arrangement with a local resource company. Most of the up to 50 staff also live on-site and this is the only pub in the town of over 1,500 residents plus a seasonal tourist trade. Make no mistake, this is a very busy hotel and fun place to live, work, experience and explore the beautiful Kimberley region.

The Position:

Kimberley Hotel is seeking an energetic and proactive Commis Chef to support our kitchen team on a full-time basis. You will be motivated, driven, embrace your career with passion, creativity, professionalism and commitment.

Who we are looking for:

The successful applicant will posses the following qualities and skills;

- Previous experience with the same position or higher
- Previous experience as a shift supervisor
- A passion for food
- Hard working,



reliable and flexible attitude
- Highly motivated
- A team player
- Experience in working in all section of kitchen including hot section, cold larder, function preparation, breakfast and bulk catering
- Ability to work positively within a high-pressure team workplace to produce food as per requirements
