Binarri-binyja yarrawoo (BBY) is seeking a Connected Beginnings Coordinator to lead the implementation of the Connected Beginnings program across the East Kimberley.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an Aboriginal-led organisation that is working with communities, service providers and government partners to improve outcomes for Aboriginal children and families during the critical early years.

About the Role

As the Connected Beginnings Coordinator, you will provide leadership and coordination for a significant regional initiative that brings together education, health, early childhood and family support services. Working closely with the Engagement & Partnerships Manager and a dedicated team of Community Engagement Workers, you will:

- Coordinate the delivery of the Connected Beginnings program across the East Kimberley
- Support implementation of the Community Action Plan developed with local communities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal organisations, families, service providers and government agencies
- Facilitate collaboration and collective action across the early years sector
- Monitor program progress, outcomes and reporting requirements
- Support community-led approaches that respond to local priorities and aspirations
- Supervise and mentor Community Engagement Workers
- Contribute to strategic planning, evaluation and continuous improvement activities

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who brings:
- Experience in community development, project coordination, stakeholder engagement or program delivery
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Experience working with Aboriginal communities, organisations or programs




- The ability to coordinate multiple priorities and work independently
- A passion for community-led change and improving outcomes for children and families

Qualifications in Community Development, Education, Health, Social Sciences, Project Management or a related field will be highly regarded.
