Western Downs Digital Park

Western Downs Digital Park is a major new hyperscale data centre campus at Kogan in Queensland. Planned across multiple delivery phases, it brings together AI-ready data centres, energy infrastructure and a purpose-built campus environment. This is an opportunity to help shape a critical new digital infrastructure asset from the ground up.

The role The Construction Delivery Lead will hold end-to-end accountability for delivery of Western Downs Digital Park, initially focused on the first leased building and extending to future buildings as they mobilise. You will lead the campus from design development through construction, commissioning and handover to operations.

This is Zerra DC's senior delivery leadership role for WDDP. You will own programme, cost, quality, safety and stakeholder outcomes while connecting the work of Design, PMO, Capital Project Controls, Finance, Legal, ESG, HV Utilities, Commissioning and Operations. The role combines strategic oversight with visible, hands-on leadership of contractors, consultants and delivery teams.

What you will lead

- The WDDP campus delivery strategy, programme and sequencing across the first leased building and future phases.
- Construction delivery across base build, customer fit-out, owner-supplied equipment integration, commissioning and handover.
- Safety leadership and an Injury and Incident Free culture across contractors, vendors and project teams.
- Programme certainty,



delivery readiness, critical-path management and early intervention where milestones are at risk.
- Interfaces across design, contractors, customers, power and utilities, commissioning and operational readiness.
- Project risk, quality, commercial alignment, approvals and transparent executive reporting.
- Government, community and Traditional Owner engagement supporting WDDP's long-term social licence.
- The development of a high-performing campus delivery team and accountable project culture.

What you will bring

You will be a senior client-side construction or project delivery leader with experience running complex, multi-package capital programmes.

You will combine enterprise-level judgement with the willingness to stay close to site execution, interfaces and delivery risk.

- At least 15 years of progressive experience delivering major construction, infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
- End-to-end leadership across design development, procurement, construction, commissioning and operational handover.
- Direct accountability for programme, cost, quality, safety, contractors and senior stakeholder outcomes.
- Experience coordinating complex technical and commercial interfaces across multiple work packages and delivery partners.
- Robust executive reporting, risk management and decision-making capability.
- Data centre experience is highly regarded; major energy, resources, transport, aviation, defence, advanced manufacturing or other complex infrastructure backgrounds are also relevant.
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline is preferred.
