Role Description the Contract Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Sydney, NSW. The role involves administering and managing contracts for concrete construction projects, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining contract documentation.
The Contract
Administrator will coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure contract terms are clearly understood and complied with. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring contract performance, assisting with procurement activities, tracking variations, preparing reports, and supporting contract negotiations.
The role also requires maintaining accurate records, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards, and proactively addressing contract-related issues.
Qualifications
- Robust skills in Contract Management and Contract Administration, with experience handling construction-related agreements.
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Procurement to support supplier and subcontractor engagements.
- Effective Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to review contract terms, assess risks, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Experience in the construction industry, particularly concrete works, is highly regarded.
- Ability to work on-site in Drummoyne, NSW, and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Robust attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with relevant software (e.g., MS Office, contract management tools).
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in construction management, law, business, or a related field.
