About Us

Bukchangdong Soft Tofu Central is a Korean restaurant located in the heart of Sydney CBD.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of Korean dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare ingredients, including meat, seafood, vegetables and sauces.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste and presentation.
- Monitor food stock and assist with ordering and inventory control.
- Ensure proper food storage and stock rotation.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Work efficiently with other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Assist with daily kitchen operations and food preparation.

Requirements




- Previous experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen is required.
- Experience in Korean cuisine is highly regarded.
- Relevant cookery qualifications are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
