We are working with a quick-growing, diversified healthcare organisation that is looking to hire an Analyst / Associate into its Corporate Development team in Melbourne. This is a broad, high-exposure role combining M&A;, corporate development, strategy and a range of high-priority projects. You won't be limited to transaction execution — you'll have the opportunity to work on projects that directly influence the growth and direction of the broader business.
As a general guide you will be involved in supporting acquisitions and strategic investments from origination through to execution, building financial models, analysing businesses and assessing investment opportunities, conducting market, competitor and industry analysis, supporting due diligence, transaction processes and investment papers,
working on strategic and commercial projects across the wider organisation and tackling ad hoc projects for senior stakeholders where the answer isn't always obvious
We're looking for someone with around 2–6 years' experience in investment banking, M&A;, transaction services, private equity or corporate development. You'll need strong analytical and financial modelling skills, but just as importantly, curiosity, commercial judgement and the ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
