About the client:
Our client, based in Orchard Hills, is currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join their growing team.
They are a well-established supplier within the construction and building materials sector, specialising in systems that incorporate fibre cement boards, plasterboards, and drywall solutions. Their product range supports partitions, ceilings, linings, and external wall systems across both residential and commercial projects.
With continued growth and strong market demand, this role offers an opportunity to become part of a reliable operation with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
The Role:
- Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
- $38/hour Super
- Long-term ongoing with a permanent contract after the probationary period
- Manual handling with some heavy lifting is required for the role
- Be confident in operating Linde 2-tonne gas forklifts
To be successful in this role, you need to have the following:
- Forklift license
- Picking experience
- At least 3 years of counterbalance forklift experience (wide load experience)
- Able to do manual handling tasks up to 25 kg
- Can commit to 5 days per week of work
