The Role

SRG Global is seeking a Credit Control Officer to join our finance team based at our Subiaco Head Office.

It’s a varied role where you’ll look after customer accounts, follow up outstanding payments, resolve account queries and work closely with different teams across the business. You’ll also be involved in reconciliations, invoicing, credit checks and month-end activities.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident dealing with customers and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone when needed. If you enjoy working with people as much as you enjoy keeping your accounts in order, this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

- Contacting customers and debtors by phone and email regarding outstanding accounts.
- Conducting credit checks and setting up new customer accounts.
- Generating invoices and claims in the system.
- Monitoring the Accounts Receivable inbox and responding to customer enquiries.
- Reconciling customer accounts and processing receipts accurately and efficiently.
- Liaising with operational staff regarding accounts on hold.
- Preparing end-of-month customer statements.
- Assisting with month-end procedures, reporting and other ad-hoc requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- The successful applicant will ideally have:

- Experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.Confidence using Microsoft Office,



including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A positive and proactive approach and the ability to work well within a team.
- Current membership with the Australian Institute of Credit Management is desirable.
