About us

Glenbank Farm is a large-scale, family-run dairy operation at Tocumwal in the NSW Riverina. We milk 1,300 cows and are in the middle of an expansion program. We're a team of 15 and we back our people to learn, take on responsibility, and build a real career in dairy.

The role

We're looking for a reliable Dairy Farm Hand to join our team. You'll be involved in the day-to-day running of the dairy and general farm work. No two days are identical, and there's genuine scope to grow your skills and move up as the farm expands.

What you'll be doing The role can be tailored to your interests and experience, but may include

- Milking cows through our 50stand rotary dairy, including cup-on, cup-off, and shed cleaning
- Bringing in and moving the herd calmly and safely
- Monitoring cow health and flagging any issues (lameness, mastitis, cows off feed)
- Feeding out and assisting with herd management
- Keeping yards, sheds, and equipment clean and in positive order
- Assisting with animal husbandry (sorting cows, vaccinations, branding)




- General farm maintenance and other duties as needed

What we're looking for

- A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Reliability
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather and around large animals
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of farm work
- A current driver's licence

Nice to have (but not essential)

- Previous dairy or livestock experience
- Experience operating farm machinery (tractors, quad/side-by-side)
- A genuine interest in building a career in agriculture
