The Role

As Sharon AI continues to grow, we’re looking for a talented Data Center Design Manager (Lead) to join our Infrastructure team, reporting to our VP of Infrastructure. You’ll provide owner-side technical and design leadership across the development, expansion and delivery of high-density AI data center infrastructure. Acting as an informed design authority, you’ll translate AI infrastructure requirements into facility requirements and work across internal teams and external engineering partners to support highly available, scalable GPU infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

- Act as the owner-side authority for data center design and engineering
- Develop internal design principles, standards, Basis of Design requirements, technical specifications and reference architectures
- Review and challenge designs from data center operators, developers, EPC contractors, OEMs and engineering consultants
- Provide technical oversight across electrical, mechanical, cooling, controls and other key engineering disciplines
- Translate GPU platform requirements into facility-level infrastructure requirements




- Ensure facility designs align with compute, network, storage, platform and operational requirements
- Partner with AI/HPC, Network, Storage and Platform architects to create integrated facility-to-GPU-cluster designs
- Identify design risk, challenge engineering assumptions and strengthen pre-construction capability
- Own design assurance across multiple projects supporting highly available, scalable GPU infrastructure

What We're Looking For

- 10+ years’ experience in mission-critical, hyperscale, cloud, colocation or data center infrastructure
- Strong multidisciplinary understanding of data center engineering, with deep capability in at least one major engineering discipline
- Experience designing, delivering or technically governing large-scale data center infrastructure
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- Solid design documentation, decision-making discipline and attention to detail
- A genuine interest in AI, technology and what Sharon AI is building

Nice to have:

- Chartered Professional Engineer / CPEng or equivalent accreditation
- Hyperscale cloud, neocloud, GPU cloud or major data center developer/operator experience
- Experience with brownfield or greenfield development, liquid cooling,



commissioning or integrated systems testing
