Role Summary

We're looking for a reliable, physically fit team member with strong knowledge of Melbourne and Victoria to work across our warehouse and delivery operations. You'll pick, pack and prepare heavy and bulky orders, deliver them in our company vehicle, and go the extra mile to make sure every customer is delighted. That includes placing items where the customer wants them, not just leaving them at the door. You'll also help keep the warehouse safe, tidy, and organised.

Key Responsibilities

Picking and packing

- Pick orders accurately from stock using pick lists or a scanning system
- Pack, wrap, and secure heavy or bulky items so they arrive undamaged
- Label orders and prepare them for dispatch
- Check items against orders for accuracy and quantity, and report discrepancies or damage

Deliveries
- Load and unload the company vehicle safely, using correct lifting techniques and equipment
- Plan efficient delivery runs across Melbourne and regional Victoria, using your local knowledge to choose the best routes and avoid delays
- Deliver on time and handle bulky items with care on arrival
- Provide a full-service delivery: carry items inside and place them in the room or location the customer wants (e.g. garage, kitchen, upstairs room), and remove packaging where requested
- Protect customers' property by taking care with floors, walls, doorways and gardens
- Confirm with the customer that the item is in the right place and that they're happy before leaving




- Obtain proof of delivery or signatures and record deliveries accurately
- Report any damage, access issues or customer concerns to the team promptly
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report faults, damage or incidents

Warehouse duties
- Receive incoming stock, check it against paperwork and put it away in the correct location
- Assist with stocktakes and cycle counts
- Keep floors, aisles, loading areas and workstations clean, clear and hazard-free
- Operate manual handling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys, hand trucks) and, if required, a forklift
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Selection Criteria

Essential

- Current, full Australian car driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of Melbourne and Victoria, including suburbs, major roads, tolls and typical traffic patterns
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when checking orders, packing items and confirming deliveries
- A genuine customer-service mindset and a willingness to take extra steps to leave customers satisfied
- Ability to interact courteously and professionally with customers at their workplaces
- Ability to safely and repeatedly lift, carry and move heavy or bulky items up to 25 kg individually,



with team lifts or equipment for heavier loads
- Ability to work reliably and accurately with minimal supervision
- Positive time management and basic literacy and numeracy for reading orders and recording deliveries
- Right to work in Australia
- WWCC (as we deliver to schools), and Police Check

Desirable
- Previous warehouse, logistics or courier experience
- Confident use of GPS and navigation apps, with the initiative to plan around road closures and peak-hour traffic
- Forklift licence (LF)
- Familiarity with inventory or scanning systems

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role. You'll be on your feet or driving for long periods and regularly lifting, carrying, bending and climbing in and out of a vehicle, including moving heavy or bulky items in and out of customers' premises. Work may be in varying conditions (heat, cold, wet weather).You need to be willing and able to cope with the physical demands of this position.

Working Conditions

- Casual engagement with no guaranteed hours, with a casual loading paid in lieu of leave entitlements
- Shifts assigned based on business needs, with 48 hours’ notice where possible
- Uniform provided
- Vehicle provided, and tolls, fuel costs etc. covered by company.

Pay: $34.00 – $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 14.0 per week

Experience

- Delivery driver: 1 year (Preferred)
- Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
