This full-time Delivery Driver/Store Person position with SHV Wholesalers is based in North Hobart, Tasmania. You will play a key role in the efficient distribution and delivery of goods to our customers, as well as assist with general store operations.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload delivery vehicles in a timely and organised manner
- Assist with general warehouse operations, including stock management, order processing and customer service
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Support the wider warehouse and logistics team as required
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Valid driver's licence and proven safe driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Familiarity with warehousing and logistics operations
- Forklift licence and experience an advantage
- Medium rigid truck licence
