About the role

We are seeking a Delivery Person / Factory Hand to join the team at Uzit Wardrobes WA in Balcatta.

This is a casual position that plays a vital role in our wardrobe operations. You will be responsible for supporting our delivery, pick up and factory operations, ensuring that products are handled efficiently and delivered to our jobs on time. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and customer satisfaction within our wardrobe company.

Key responsibilities

- Loading work van for deliveries of cabinets and hardware etc.
- Delivering cabinets and materials to job sites.
- Assist with carry cabinets and materials onto job sites and upstairs, if required.
- High care must be taken not to damage products and property, when delivering cabinets and materials etc.

- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely, efficiently and with a high amount of care.
- A high amount of care must be taken when loading and unloading cabinets and materials etc.
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of products in the factory for delivery or pick up.
- Performing general factory hand duties as required, including handling and assembly tasks.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in factory areas.
- Operating factory equipment, including forklifts, where appropriate and qualified.
- Assisting other factory staff when required.
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
- Providing support to the team during peak periods to meet delivery deadlines.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in delivery and wardrobe factory operations is highly desirable
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and work in a fast-paced environment




- Strength required to lift and assist with carry items in factory and on job sites
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (licences and certifications are advantageous)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A commitment to health and safety standards and best practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliability and a positive attitude towards work
- Valid manual driver's licence is essential for delivery-related duties
- Willingness to work flexibly, including diferent start and finish times.
