As a Development Compliance Officer, you'll investigate compliance matters, provide advice, and support continuous improvement across development, environment and building compliance activities.

What you will be doing:

- Carry out inspections, issue orders and penalty infringement notices
- Enforce legislation requirements and regulations whilst abiding by relevant Acts
- Investigate complaints, defects incidents and offences in relation to land use
- Monitor development, building, subdivision sites and illegal landfill dumping
- Prepare statement of basic facts, contentions, briefs of evidence and affidavits as well as appear in court.

What are we seeking in our new team member:

- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- White Card - General Construction Induction
- Working knowledge and experience of relevant Acts, Legislation, Regulations and Standards (1-2 years)




- Diploma/Certificate IV in Town Planning, Environmental Health, Building Surveying, Law enforcement or related field

Perks of working with us: A salary of $93K Development Compliance Officer per annum (plus Superannuation), with either Leaseback OR Car Allowance $15,191.80 per annum, paid weekly.
