Meta Creative is looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to drive website projects from initial briefing through to launch and handover.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who is confident with clients, understands both the creative and technical sides of boutique web projects, and knows how to keep several builds moving smoothly at once.

You will work closely with our web design, development and support teams, taking responsibility for the scope, schedule, daily communication and overall execution of each project.

The Role

You will manage a variety of website projects from start to finish, including:

- Leading project kick-offs, discovery sessions and client check-ins
- Turning approved proposals into clear project timelines, milestones and tasks
- Coordinating day-to-day tasks for designers, developers, content specialists and support staff
- Managing several active website projects at different production stages
- Keeping clients informed, confident and accountable for their content and feedback
- Tracking project scope, timelines, dependencies and change requests
- Acting as the primary bridge between clients, creative minds and the technical team
- Reviewing work to ensure it hits the brief before it reaches the client
- Coordinating content gathering, design approvals, development testing and client feedback
- Identifying delivery risks early and flag issues before they affect deadlines




- Managing quality assurance, launch readiness checks and post-launch handover
- Maintaining accurate project records, decisions and actions in Asana
- Collaborating with the team to refine our web delivery workflows as we grow

About You

You are highly organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of your projects. You don't wait for someone else to identify the next step.

You excel at building trusted client relationships while also setting clear boundaries. You know how to protect a timeline, manage competing priorities and have professional conversations when scope creep or client delays put a project at risk.

You understand the lifecycle of how websites are planned, designed, built, tested and launched. You do not need to be a developer yourself, but you can confidently translate client needs into practical briefs for our technical and creative teams.

You will bring

- Around 3+ years of experience managing web, design or digital agency projects
- A proven track record of moving standard marketing and custom CMS websites from brief to launch
- Robust client communication, relationship-building and meeting facilitation skills
- Experience coordinating small, multidisciplinary production teams
- Solid project planning, scheduling and task prioritisation skills
- A practical understanding of user journeys, responsive design, content management systems,



domains and quality assurance
- Experience tracking project scope, hours and client change requests
- Confidence reviewing work against an agreed project brief
- Hands-on experience with Asana or a similar agile project management platform
- Familiarity with WordPress ecosystems and custom website setups
- Clear written communication skills and a sharp eye for detail

- You will be especially well suited to this role if you enjoy bringing order to creative projects, communicating openly and keeping a studio pipeline running efficiently.

- The internal team has clear daily priorities, dates and responsibilities
- Risks, roadblocks and scope changes are flagged and addressed early
- Projects move through design, development, testing and launch with clear sign-offs
- Websites launch to our agency standard, on schedule and within budget
- Handover to our web support team is organised, clean and documented
- Our delivery process becomes more consistent as the studio grows

Salary

$90,000 per annum plus superannuation.
