Director of Advancement
As St Aloysius’ College looks towards its 150th anniversary in 2029, we are seeking a Director of Advancement to help shape the next chapter of our story. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of a leading Jesuit school by building the partnerships, engagement and philanthropic support that will strengthen our capacity to flourish and continue delivering an outstanding Jesuit education for generations to come.
Reporting directly to the Principal and serving as a member of the College Executive, the Director of Advancement will lead the College’s integrated Advancement function, bringing together fundraising, alumni relations and community engagement in support of the College’s mission and strategic priorities.
As the College’s chief fundraiser, the Director of Advancement will cultivate and steward major and principal gift relationships, inspire philanthropic investment in the College, and lead the development of the strategies,
systems and team required to deliver successful campaigns and sustained growth in philanthropic support. This support will play a vital role in expanding access through bursaries, while also enabling the ongoing development and renewal of the College.
The successful candidate will bring a breadth of leadership experience ideally across all facets of the advancement portfolio with a track record of success securing major and principal gifts. The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, encouraging collaboration and high performance will be critical, together with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition.
