About the opportunity The Technology Investment & Procurement team leads technology procurement, governance, financial management and commercial activities across the Enterprise Technology Group to ensure investments are aligned to organisational priorities and delivered effectively.

This is a unique opportunity to partner with the Chief Information Officer and senior leaders to influence technology investment, governance and strategic decision-making across a diverse portfolio. You will lead high-value complex procurement and commercial initiatives, strengthen assurance and financial management practices, and guide a high-performing team in delivering innovative, reliable technology services that support staff and tribunal users across Australia.

Procurement and Commercial Management: Lead the strategic planning, governance and oversight of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)



procurement activities and provide expert advice to Senior Executives on complex ETG sourcing strategies, commercial arrangements and procurement approaches

Risk, Governance and Assurance: Lead the development and continuous improvement of governance and assurance frameworks, providing accountability, transparency and oversight of technology governance forums, reporting, and executive decision support

Financial Management and Budget Oversight: Lead the management of ETG operating and capital budgets, oversee budget planning, forecasting, and financial reporting, and provide strategic advice on financial risks, investment priorities and resource allocation

Continuous Improvement: Strengthen accountability and compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement: Provide leadership and strategic direction and develop solid partnerships with executives and business areas

About you:

You are an accomplished strategic leader with senior-level experience in complex procurement, contracts or investment within a large or regulated environment. As a trusted adviser and collaborative leader, you will build influential relationships, navigate competing priorities and inspire stronger governance, accountability and continuous improvement.

To be successful you will have:

- Demonstrated experience leading ICT procurement, governance and financial management functions with a solid knowledge of CPRs, PGPA Act and ICT governance frameworks
- Experience managing ICT budgets, financial reporting, forecasting and investment oversight
- Proven ability to provide strategic advice to senior executives and support informed decision making
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead high performing teams to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries, drive continuous improvement and deliver organisational outcomes
- Demonstrated experience exercising sound judgement,



managing ambiguity and delivering outcomes consistent with Tribunal priorities and objectives.

Qualifications / Experience

Desirable

- Academic qualification (degree or postgraduate) in business management, technology management, governance, finance, procurement or a related discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience

- Vocational certification or demonstrated professional development in governance, financial management, portfolio management, procurement, contract management, risk, assurance or related ICT management disciplines.
