About the Role

We are currently seeking genuine and compassionate Female Disability Support Workers to join our growing and diverse team on a casual basis.

This rewarding role involves supporting participants within Supported Independent Living (SIL) home environments, assisting with daily routines, personal care, medication prompting (reminding participants to take their medication), building independence, and encouraging community participation.

Multiple opportunities are available across various SIL homes and participants, including the chance to support a lovely couple in their home environment.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, your responsibilities may include:

- Supporting clients with daily living activities
- Personal care and medication assistance
- Domestic duties and household support
- Community access and social participation
- Promoting independence and life skills
- Completing accurate shift reports, progress notes, and incident reports
- Working collaboratively within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting

Shift Availability Applicants should be available for a mix of shift types,



which may include:

- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Inactive overnight sleepover shifts
- Additional shifts, which can vary in length; some are as short as 30–45 minutes but are paid for a minimum of 2 hours plus travel (KMs)

Roster Structure:

- Shifts rostered across 7 days per week
- Mix of day shifts and sleepover shifts

What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Our clients require female support workers
- A positive and person-centred approach to disability support
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Reliability, compassion, and professionalism
- Experience in the disability sector (desirable but not essential)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Blue Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- A reliable vehicle and a valid Driver Licence
