Support Workers – Cranbourne, Clyde & Surrounding Suburbs

My Therapy Groups is currently hiring Support Workers across Cranbourne, Clyde and surrounding suburbs.

We are looking for both female and male Support Workers to join our team, with opportunities available across SIL (Supported Independent Living) accommodations and general support work.

There are plenty of hours available, with the prospect to take on additional shifts and work with multiple clients for workers who demonstrate reliability, professionalism and a strong work ethic.

About the Role

Support Workers will assist participants with a range of daily activities and support needs, which may include:

- Personal care and daily living support
- Community access and social activities
- Household tasks
- Meal preparation
- Supporting participants to attend appointments and activities
- Supporting participants in SIL accommodation
- Following individual support plans and procedures
- Providing respectful, person-centred support
- Supporting individuals who may display behaviours of concern

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

- Previous experience working in the disability or support work sector




- Experience supporting individuals with aggressive or challenging behaviours, or the confidence and willingness to develop these skills
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- A valid Australian driver's licence
- Comprehensive car insurance
- Your own reliable vehicle
- Completion of the following NDIS training modules:
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Support Effective Communication
- Safe and Enjoyable Meals
