Breezy Care is a registered NDIS provider delivering respectful, person-centred support across Melbourne’s north and west.

We are seeking reliable Casual Disability Support Workers to provide personal care and community participation support to NDIS participants.

Location: Melbourne north and west.

What you will do

- Provide respectful personal care support, including assistance with daily routines, hygiene, dressing, meal preparation and mobility, in line with each participant’s support plan.
- Support participants to access their community, attend appointments, take part in social, recreational and meaningful activities, and build independence.
- Promote participant choice, dignity, privacy, safety and control in every interaction.
- Follow support plans, risk assessments, policies and procedures.
- Complete clear and timely progress notes and report incidents, risks or changes in a participant’s wellbeing promptly.
- Communicate professionally with participants, families, guardians, support coordinators and the Breezy Care team.

What you will bring

- Experience supporting people with disability, particularly with personal care and community participation.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- A current Victorian Working with Children Check,



where required for the participant support.
- Valid Australian work rights, 100 points of identification and a current driver licence.
- Access to a reliable, registered and insured vehicle suitable for work-related travel.
- Robust communication skills, reliability, professional boundaries and a genuine commitment to participant-centred support.

Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or a relevant qualification is highly regarded. Experience with manual handling, medication support or complex needs is also highly regarded, where training and competency requirements are met.

Employment details

This is a casual position. Shifts and hours will vary according to participant needs, worker availability and service demand. Applicants with availability across weekdays, evenings and weekends are encouraged to apply.

Pay starts from $34.11 per hour, plus superannuation and applicable SCHADS Award penalty rates and allowances. Classification and pay will be based on qualifications, experience and duties.
